Elipson
Elipson Origins
Elipson, founded in 1938, is the oldest French brand specializing in the manufacture of high-end speakers. The company’s origins trace back to the Multimoteur company, which initially produced electric motors for toys and miniature electrical equipment. In 1948, Joseph Léon, an engineer, took over the company and began extensive research into reflectors and resonators, leading to the creation of Elipson in 1951. Elipson has since expanded its product line to include vinyl turntables, amplifiers, and audio accessories, all of which are manufactured in their factory in Saint-Fargeau, Burgundy, France.
