Origins of Inkel
Inkel, an audio equipment manufacturer, has its origins rooted in South Korea. The company was established on March 7, 1970, as the existing Inkel. In 1980, it restructured as Shinbang Electronics, which later changed its name to Haitai Electronics in January 1988. In 2001, the company name was changed to Etronix, and in January 2007, it returned to its original name, Incelo Mission.
Inkel is a trademark of Dong Won Electronics Co., Ltd., located in Dobong-ku, Seoul, Korea. The company is known for manufacturing hi-fi audio equipment and has been associated with Dong Won Special Sound Co., Ltd., which operated in Hong Kong/China from 1983 and changed its name to Inkel P.A., Inc., in 1989.
