Origins of Mission

Mission Electronics was founded in 1977 by Farad Azima in the UK and was immediately recognized as one of the leaders in the development of acoustic engineering. The company has been known for its application of new technologies to create high-quality loudspeakers and has been recognized as a leading company in audio design. While Mission is well-known for its loudspeakers, it also manufactures turntables and other audio equipment.

Mission is owned by the International Audio Group (IAG), a Chinese manufacturer of consumer and professional audio and HiFi components. It is based in Shenzhen in China. It is owned and run by twin brothers Bernard and Michael Chang.
