MoFi Electronics Origins

MoFi Electronics was established in 2016 as the audio electronics division of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL). MFSL, known for its high-quality vinyl records, has a history dating back to 1977. The company is renowned for its “Original Master Recording” vinyl LPs and later introduced the Ultradisc One-Step series in 2016.

MoFi Electronics aims to bring the high-quality sound reproduction expertise of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab into home audio systems. They produce turntables, cartridges, phono preamps, speakers, and other audio accessories designed to deliver exceptional sound quality. The company’s products are crafted to capture the rich details and warmth of vinyl records, ensuring an authentic and immersive listening experience.

MoFi Electronics offices and turntable manufacturing are based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where they maintain strict quality control by manufacturing many of their products in-house. This approach ensures that their products meet the exacting standards set by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab over the past four decades.
