Nottingham Analogue Studio was founded in Great Britain over four decades ago, with its origins tracing back to the 1960s. The company was initially the brainchild of Tom Fletcher, an ace designer who championed the concept of using low-torque motors with their turntables. This design philosophy aimed to minimize vibrations and improve sound quality by liberating the platter, arm, and motor from the resonance-laden, box-like base that housed most turntables in the past.

Tom Fletcher passed away in 2010, and his daughter has since taken over the company, continuing the legacy of hand-built, high-quality audio equipment. Nottingham Analogue Studio is known for its range of turntables, each designed to provide exceptional sound quality and pleasing aesthetics. The company’s products are made by hand in the heart of Sherwood Forest, UK, and are recognized for their unique design and engineering.
