Origins of Rational Audio

Rational Audio is a Czech high-end audio company known for manufacturing high-quality turntables and other audio equipment. The company was founded by one of the founders of British NAD, who passed away in the summer of 2000. Rational Audio has been producing audio components since its inception, including the G1 turntable, which was among their early products. The company now focuses on three main lines: Exclusive, Classic, and Mini, each offering various types of turntables, amplifiers, and speaker systems.
