Rui Borges
Rui Borges Origins
Rui Borges, the master craftsman behind Rui Borges Turntables, began his journey in the audio industry in 1990 when he built his first turntable, the RSB Reference. This turntable was displayed at the largest Portuguese Audioshow in 1995, where it received high praise from the audiophile community. In 1996, the RSB Reference was reviewed by Jorge Gonçalves, the editor-in-chief of the most important Portuguese audio magazine “Audio,” and it won the “Analogue product of the year” award the following year. Encouraged by this success, Rui Borges continued to innovate and create new masterpieces, leading to the development of the “Ultimo” in 2000, followed by the “PENDULUM II” and “UNO II,” which further solidified his reputation in the audiophile world.
