Origins of TW Acustic

TW Acustic, the manufacturer of high-end turntables, was founded by Thomas Woschnick. Woschnick initially started repairing and modifying turntables about 20 years ago when he was short on funds. After about ten years of modifying other turntables without achieving the desired results, he decided to create his own turntable. It took him approximately five years and a significant portion of his savings to develop the right materials, bearing, and motor for his turntable. The result was the Raven, which became the foundation of the TW Acustic brand. Woschnick did not initially intend to start a business but was convinced by friends and the positive reception at audio shows to officially launch TW Acustic. The company has since gained recognition for its innovative and high-quality turntables, setting new standards in the industry.
