Origins of Unitra

Unitra, the Association of Polish consumer electronics manufacturers, was established in 1961 and operated until 1989. After the systemic transformation, the brand continued to produce consumer electronics, including audio products such as turntables. The company collaborated with international manufacturers, such as Sanyo and Sankei, to enhance its technological capabilities. In 2021, Unitra S.A. partnered with investor Michał Kiciński to form Unitra Sp. z o.o., focusing on developing new audio products while preserving 20th-century traditions and embracing modern sustainability principles.
