Victrola
Origins of Victrola
Victrola, a manufacturer of turntables and audio products, has its origins dating back to 1906 when it was first introduced to the American public by the Victor Talking Machine Company in Camden, New Jersey. The company was known for its use of quality materials and became the largest and most successful turntable manufacturer of its time. In 1918, the Victor Talking Machine Company was renamed to RCA, but the Victrola brand continued to be associated with high-quality audio products.
In 2015, Innovative Technology, a manufacturer of distinctive consumer electronics, acquired the Victrola trademark. This acquisition added the 110-year-old Victrola brand to Innovative Technology’s extensive lines of nostalgic turntables and audio products, which were already a significant portion of their sales, contributing up to $45 million in revenue.
Today, Victrola continues to innovate and evolve, offering a range of turntables and audio solutions designed with simplicity, beauty, and superior sound. The company aims to bring lifelong music memories to everyone, combining vintage aesthetics with modern technology.
