VPI Industries was founded in 1978 by Sheila and Harry Weisfeld as a small family business. The company began by manufacturing a record-cleaning machine and later introduced a turntable disc in two different sizes. Over the years, VPI has grown into a respected leader in the audio industry, known for its high-quality turntables, tonearms, cartridges, and record cleaning machines. Today, the company is run by Harry Weisfeld and his son Mat Weisfeld, who continue to innovate and maintain the family’s commitment to craftsmanship and sonic excellence.
