Vyger

Vyger Origins

VYGER was founded in 1993 by Giuseppe Viola, who had extensive experience in precision machining complex parts. His experimentation with mechanical systems for analogue playback had begun many years earlier. Since 2003, Enrico Datti has collaborated with VYGER, and together with Mr. Viola, they achieved one of the best sounds at the CES show in Las Vegas. In 2021, Björn Östen joined the team, adding a new technical dimension to the company’s research and design capabilities. The company focuses on developing high-performance turntables and tonearms, with a notable innovation being the integral air bearing systems on both axes, which they claim guarantees superior performance by eliminating noise caused by traditional bearing systems.
