Audiophile Context

B&O's most feature-complete consumer open-reel combines pro-grade transport stability, versatile mixing/editing, and hi-fi amplification for standalone or system use; excels at 7½ ips with low-noise tapes, though single-capstan limits extreme wow/flutter vs. later pro decks—prime restoration candidate for Danish wood hi-fi collectors.
