The Bang & Olufsen Beocord 1200 is a 1969–1973 slim-line stereo open‑reel deck (Type 4207), designed as the tape component of the Beosystem 1200 with a strong focus on domestic hi‑fi, easy operation and matching system aesthetics.

Track system: 4‑track, 2‑channel stereo/mono on ¼‑inch tape.
Speeds: 19 and 9.5 cm/s (7½ and 3¾ ips).
Reels: Up to 18 cm / 7‑inch reel size.
Fast wind: Approx. 200 s for a full LP‑length tape.
