Additional Information

Developed after Byer found the licensed Magnecorder transport mechanically unstable, the Type 77 was Australia's first locally designed machine built solely for professional and broadcasting use; roughly 250 units were used at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games in mobile 'Studioette' broadcast units.
