Additional Information

Standing for 'Train-Road-Aeroplane-Vessel-Lasting-Exceptional-Recording,' a fully transistorised, single-speed portable recorder taking 3-inch spools, with a neon recording-level indicator and a 9-volt battery supply. The deck itself was most likely of Italian origin; rights later passed to Aerialite Ltd, and a rebadged Trav-Ler TT 591 later appeared in the USA.
