Additional Information

One of the first British recorders to exploit quarter-track stereo prerecorded tapes: Chitnis modified the single-speed Elektron 9S deck with twin amplifiers, selling it under his own name and later renaming it the Audiograph 9/SK4 in 1960. A single-motor, single-speed machine with Bogen heads, operated from a small central keyboard flanked by rotary gain controls, with outputs for external stereo speakers.
