Described by reviewer John Borwick as 'a miracle of compactness,' a single-speed portable recorder with a 3-inch spool and internal 5-inch speaker, running around 50 hours on four torch batteries. Marketed in the UK by GBC as the Clarion Transitape; the same design (built by the German firm Trix) was sold elsewhere as the Phonotrix.
