A three-speed, three-motor deck mechanism fitted with two heads (with provision for a third monitor or stereo playback head), superseding the Collaro Transcriptor Mk IV. Ruggedly built with three fully screened four-pole induction motors and an interlocking push-button transport, it became extremely popular with British recorder manufacturers in the early 1960s.
