Built by the Electronic Instrument Company (EICO) of Flushing, NY, a quarter-track stereo tape deck that could also play back half-track stereo tapes. Three separate heads, two speeds, 7-inch reels and separate solid-state record/playback electronics enabling off-tape monitoring while recording. Solenoid tape lifters, push-button controls, DC electro-dynamic braking, sound-on-sound, dual VU meters and automatic end-of-tape stop.
