A three-speed, quarter-track stereo recorder with a 7-inch reel capacity and all-solid-state circuitry, built around parent company Thorn's successful 1965 DC43 tape deck. A pair of 5x3-inch speakers were set into the sides of the teak-veneered cabinet, and the same deck was used on the mono 3216.
