Built in Croydon, London in 1961. Previously used by the BBC as an out on the field machine. Professional machine whose rivals were Ampex and Studer. Available in console, portable, and rack-mountable configurations. Total harmonic distortion: 0.2% between 40Hz and 18KHz, start time: 900ms, rewind speed: 2400ft in 90 seconds, crosstalk: 45 dB minimum, tape speed stability: 0.2% from one end of the reel to the other.
