Released in late 1967, the Series Q was a professional battery-portable recorder operating on 12 U2 cells or rechargeable cells. Specially designed for high standards of performance and reliability in the field. Three models: Q1 (single/half track mono for Pro), Q2 (twin-track stereo), QS (synchropulse for film). Modules could be easily replaced for servicing.
