Minifon GM

A later, tape-based (rather than the original wire-based) Minifon recorder made in Japan under license, continuing the Minifon name's association with compact, discreet recording equipment used by journalists, insurance investigators and, notoriously, intelligence agencies during the Cold War. (Minifon's earlier and better-known Mi-51/P.55 models were magnetic-wire recorders, not open-reel tape, and are excluded here.)
