An enhanced follow-up to the K.9 released in late 1959, finally adopting the international standard of left-to-right tape travel. Speed change was via a cam-spindle at the lower left of the deck, with a pull-down pause control above the transport buttons; a 1960 magazine review called it 'the answer to those home constructors' looking for a low-priced, reasonably efficient three-speed deck.
