An attractive twin-track mono recorder from the Bremen firm Nordmende, the 1958 Titan had a 7 inch reel capacity and two speeds (7.5 and 3.75 ips). Separate bass and treble controls were provided for playback along with a single-ended ECL82 three-watt amplifier and no less than three built-in speakers (one main and two tweeters). Record level was indicated via an EM840 magic ribbon tube. Price when new in Germany was 739 DM.
