Soviet high-class reel-to-reel deck, the earliest of the Kirov (Lepse) 'Olimp/Olymp' line that led to the better-known 004, 005 and 006. Positioned as a top-tier home machine using the standardised three-motor Soviet transport approach. Note: reliable model-specific published figures for the 003 are scarce; it is best understood as the first-generation forerunner of the more fully documented 004/005 models below.
