Fast winding times (<100 seconds for 2400 ft tape).
Wow and flutter: 0.04% unweighted at 30 ips, 0.06% at 15 ips.

  • Heads:
Three heads (record, playback, erase) in a stacked/inline configuration.
Permalloy head composition for high fidelity and durability.

  • Frequency Response:
2-track model: 50 Hz to 20 kHz at 30 ips.
4-track model: 67 Hz to 23 kHz at 30 ips.

  • Signal-to-Noise Ratio: Approximately 79 dB (unweighted).

  • Total Harmonic Distortion:
    0.15% for 2-track model.
    0.2% for 4-track model.
