Otari MTR-20T

The Otari MTR-20T is a professional 2-track, 2-channel reel-to-reel tape recorder closely related to the Otari MTR-15 series, designed primarily for studio and broadcast use. It shares many design elements and electronic components with the MTR-15, including the head stack and circuit cards, but was produced in limited numbers (around 200 units), making it relatively rare.

  Comparable to MTR-15: wide frequency response (approximately 50 Hz to 20 kHz at 30 ips)
  Low wow and flutter (around 0.03% at 30 ips)
  High signal-to-noise ratio and low distortion typical of Otari’s professional tape decks

• Build and Rarity:
  Only about 200 units produced, making parts and service more difficult to find
  Built with the same high standards as other Otari professional decks, suitable for demanding studio environments
