British-badged reel-to-reel (Pye Ltd., Cambridge; model TR9123A, c.1969) - in fact a Philips-built machine (made in Austria) essentially identical to the Philips N4308, also sold in Sweden as a DUX. Described as 'ideal for the enthusiast beginner'.
Configuration: quarter-track (4-track) mono with stereo playback (via an external stereo pre-amp/amplifier), two speeds; 6 x 4-inch elliptical speaker; 4 W amplifier.
IO/physical: mic 0.2 mV/2k, radio-diode 2.0 mV/20k, pickup 150 mV/1.5M inputs; rewind 1,200 ft in ~180 s; 419 x 298 x 147 mm; about 7.95 kg.
