Launched in spring 1961 and based on the single-speed BSR Monardeck, available in half-track (A41) and quarter-track (A42 De Luxe) versions with a maximum reel capacity of 5.75 inches. Features included a magic-eye record level indicator, a single tone control, monitoring, a supplied crystal microphone and an extension speaker output.
