Additional Information
One of the earliest British portable tape recorders, produced by Tape Recorders Electronics Ltd (TRE) of Fitzroy Street, London, and distributed by the Mail Order Supply Company. A half-track mono machine driven by three identical Collaro shaded-pole motors, one each for spooling and one for capstan drive at 7.5 ips. Valve complement comprised two EF40, two EL41, one EM34 and one EZ40.
