A transistorized development of the earlier Minitape series, powered by a rechargeable 12.5V Ni-Cd battery, with separate record and playback heads and amplifiers for full off-tape monitoring. No erase oscillator was fitted to save current; a permanent magnet instead erased the tape during fast rewind, with record level set automatically via a microphone attenuation switch.
