A twin-track, two-speed machine whose name was somewhat misleading: it used two half-track mono heads, one with a high-impedance winding for normal valve recording and a low-impedance winding on the second track feeding a built-in two-transistor preamp, giving stereo playback of pre-recorded tapes through an external amplifier. Stereo recording itself was not possible.
