The TEAC A-3300SR is a semi-professional 4-track, 2-channel stereo reel-to-reel tape deck from the 1970s, featuring auto-reverse playback for convenient continuous operation.
Track and Head System
4-track, 2-channel stereo/monaural quarter-track format.
Three heads: erase, record, and playback heads made of high-hardness permalloy.
Auto-reverse playback switches between tracks 1 & 3 and 2 & 4 automatically, allowing seamless tape direction changes.
Tape Transport and Motors
Three motors: two reel motors and one capstan motor ensuring stable tape tension and precise speed control.
