Additional Information

Early British domestic reel-to-reel recorder built around the Truvox Mk IV tape deck, housed in a plywood cabinet. Valve (tube) electronics with an EF86 preamp stage feeding a push-pull EL84 output stage, driving a built-in 10x6 inch Rola Celestion loudspeaker. Half-track mono recording at two speeds with a simple two-speed capstan arrangement, external radio and crystal microphone inputs, and connections for an external amplifier or speaker.
