Battery-operated, fully transistorized professional recorder purpose-built for reporting and frame-synchronized film sound recording. Featured a rapidly rotating small flywheel with indirect capstan drive allowing operation in any orientation, automatic tape tension control, a collectorless DC servo motor with temperature-compensated electronic speed control, a pilot-frequency device for synchronized sound recording, two-microphone input mixing and electromagnetic remote control. Priced at $4500 in 1985, rising to $5300 by its final year in 1990.
