Fully transistorized evolution of the Universal, in an all-metal case with a lift-up lid exposing the tape spools and piano-key transport controls, including continuous automatic playback/rewind and a dedicated dictating mode that automatically adjusts microphone recording level. Half-track mono, single 3¾x6 inch elliptical speaker, 2.5-watt class-B output. Solidly built, though noted by reviewers for so-so speed stability compared with Uher's better decks.
