Wollensak's first true stereo record/playback deck (as opposed to stereo-playback-only earlier 1500-series units), housed in a standalone case with dual speakers and stereo power amplifiers built around 5891 output tubes in single-ended configuration. A rotating knob shifted the record/play head to allow compatibility with half-track tapes as well as native quarter-track recording.
