Additional information
The Dual CS 650RC is a direct-drive turntable that was manufactured between 1979 and 1980. It features fully automatic operation and can be ordered with an optional infrared remote control, which can also operate a DUAL Cassette unit. The turntable supports speeds of 33.33 and 45 rpm, and it has a non-magnetic platter weighing 1.4 kg with a diameter of 304 mm. The tonearm is the Kardan ULM model, and it offers separate pitch controls for each speed with a variance of 10%.
The turntable includes an illuminated strobe light for pitch calibration, anti-skating control, and electronic cue control. It also has front panel controls and a motor that is electronically controlled for direct drive. The tonearm is made of torsionally rigid tubular aluminum and operates in a low-friction four-point gimbal suspension. The tracking force can be adjusted from 0 to 3 grams, and it comes with a 1/2 inch adapter plate.
