The Edwards Audio TT5SC MKII turntable is an advanced model that builds on the success of the TT4 turntable, which was awarded the 'Product of the Year' by the prestigious German LP Magazine in 2021.
The TT5SC MKII turntable includes a constrained damped, 5-layer plinth construction and uses a fully machined 17mm acrylic platter with an aluminum inner drive hub, providing a rigid and damped platform for retrieving more information from records. The bearing housing is made from 18mm military-grade brass, with a stainless spindle running on a ceramic bearing.
The turntable is equipped with the A4Mk2 Carbon tone arm, which has a 12mm pultruded carbon fibre arm tube offering a superior performance over aluminum variants.3 It also comes with the SC5 speed controller as standard, providing both speed accuracy and easy electronics speed change.
