Additional information
The EMT 930 is a professional broadcast turntable known for its quality and durability. It was first introduced as a mono version in 1956 and continued production until 1985, although its successor, the direct-drive 950, had replaced it in 1976. The EMT 930 features an idler wheel drive system and is often considered a smaller version of the legendary EMT 927. It has a 33 cm aluminum die-cast main platter with a plexiglass sub-platter. The turntable is designed to be used with mains frequency it was designed for, either 50 Hz or 60 Hz. It includes a special suspension system and a lock mechanism. The EMT 930 is highly sought after by audiophiles and collectors, though it was rarely advertised and primarily used in professional settings.
