Additional information
The EMT 950 is a professional studio turntable known for its high quality and reliability. It was introduced in 1976 and was the first direct-driven unit in the EMT lineup. The turntable is available in two versions: a narrow version with pushbutton fields in front of the turntable and a wide version with pushbutton fields at the left side, which includes additional space for a cue speaker and other options.
The EMT 950 features a robust design with a built-in shock absorber frame and can be mounted on its own legs or in a console. It has three speed settings (33, 45, and 78 rpm) with automatic selection for 33 or 45 rpm based on the record's diameter. A notable feature is the "zero locator," a digital time counter that helps find cueing points. The turntable weighs nearly 76 kilograms and is often referred to as the flagship of the EMT turntable fleet.
