Additional information
The FONS CQ30 is a 3-speed belt-drive turntable designed for high-quality performance with records. It features speeds of 33.33, 45, and 78 rpm, all adjustable individually and accurately from 29 to 100 rpm.The motor is under full electronic control to eliminate dependence on mains stability, and the platter is a 12-inch precision component spinning on a hyper concentric main bearing developed over years of intensive research. The plinth incorporates the FONS anti-feedback phase cancellation suspension system, and the cover is a heavy gauge smoked with self-support hinges and a one-hand opening strip.
The FONS CQ30 is often compared to the Linn LP12 due to its high-quality construction and performance. It was manufactured in Scotland during the 1970s and is considered a well-built turntable.
