The Garrard 440M turntable is a vintage model that was considered to meet the minimum requirements for high-fidelity reproduction by Garrard. It was fitted with a Pickering V-15/ATE-4 phono cartridge and a Pickering D-ATE-4 D ATE 4 needle stylus.The stylus features a highly polished special elliptical diamond with a .0003 x .0007 inch scanning radius bonded to a thin wall metal alloy tube, offering superb tracing characteristics and high fidelity.
