Additional information
The Garrard LAB 80 is an automatic transcription turntable known for its high quality and performance. It can play up to eight records automatically at 33 1/3 or 45 RPM and features a low mass, high compliance arm capable of tracking at 1 1/2-2 grams. The turntable is designed with a metal arm that has a decorative Afromosia wooden insert. It was designed by Eric Marshall, who also designed the Garrard 401. The LAB 80 uses an idler-wheel drive system, which can provide better pitch stability and tighter bass compared to belt-driven systems.
