The Garrard RC 121 is a four-speed automatic record changer. It can play records at 16, 33, 45, and 78 rpm. It can play a stack of up to 10 records, either 7", 8", 9", 10", or 12" in diameter. Records of mixed sizes can be played if they are of similar speed, with smaller diameter records placed above larger ones. Certain stereophonic pickups allow up to eight records to be played at one loading. The RC 121 can play 7-inch 45 rpm records with large center holes using an optional large record spindle or center hole clip-in adapters. Records may also be played manually, and the changer can be stopped and started without rejecting the record2.There are some differences between models:
The RC 121/Mk. II has a plug-in pickup head, while the RC 120/Mk.II has the pickup head integrated with the arm.
The RC121/4 will only select three sizes, 7", 10", and 12", whereas the 121Mk2 will do 7", 8", 9", 10" and 12"
