Additional information
The Garrard RC210 is a four-speed fully-automatic record changer that can play records at 16, 33, 45, and 78 rpm. It can automatically play up to eight records of the same speed, and records of different sizes can be mixed. The changer can be stopped and started without rejecting the record being played, allowing it to function as a single record player.
To convert the RC210 into a stereo unit capable of playing stereo records from the late 1960s onwards, you would need to replace the original GC8 mono ceramic cartridge with a stereo ceramic or magnetic (MM) cartridge. The tonearm is already wired for stereo and has a 4-pin headshell, with only two pins used for mono. Adjusting the vertical tracking force (VTF) for the new cartridge is necessary, and you can do this by choosing the appropriate spring setting on the tonearm.
