Audio Exklusiv Origins

Audio Exklusiv is a turntable manufacturer that was founded on October 1, 1979, by Gerd Pütz. The company was established due to Pütz’s ambition for perfect music reproduction, the use of the latest technologies, and unconventional solutions. Pütz had a well-grounded apprenticeship and extensive practical experience, which helped him realize his vision. Before founding Audio Exklusiv, he worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for iron research in Düsseldorf and later studied physical techniques at the research center in Jülich. His passion for music and technology led him to work for HECO, a renowned German loudspeaker company, where he became the head of development and was responsible for several innovations.
