Audio Linear
Origins of Audio Linear
The Audio Linear company, based in Belgium, manufactured the TD-4001 turntable. This turntable was designed and sold by HiFi Dynamics International, a Belgian company. The TD-4001 was a belt-driven model that played 45 and 33 rpm records. It had visual similarities to Transcriptors turntables, particularly in the platter and end piece, which led to a legal threat from Transcriptors Limited. The turntable was made by a subcontractor in Spain and was often bundled with an SME tonearm.
